This is an on-site event at the Paul Scherrer Institute.

Michael Weinold is a PhD student in the Laboratory for Energy Systems Analysis. Many of the software tools he has built can be used by students and researchers – but hosting them on a managed server is also very costly. This is why he has ported the tools to run in a browser sandbox using the WebAssembly standard. No running cost – and complex Python-based calculations directly in the browser. This can power user-friendly dashboard and web applications.

Michael will share insights into how to set up tools in this new way.
